Valentina Osorio graduated with honors from the University of Florida where she majored in Finance with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She served as the Vice president of the University of Florida’s Entrepreneurship Club and the Vice President of the MET Pilot Scholarship House (Southern Scholarship Foundation at the University of Florida). As a product of her exceptional drive and unprecedented dedication, she has been named as a top Hispanic Scholar and has been awarded the following scholarships: Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Southern Scholarship Foundation, and UF Heavener School of Business Scholarship. She will soon be working as a Financial Analyst for Bank of America at its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Valentina aspires to further her academic career and become an influential business Hispanic leader within the finance industry. Currently, she is working to help first-generation students envision education as an opportunity and not a mere dream.
KATHIE ALEJANDRA OROZCO
Kathie Alejandra Orozco is a current Senior at the University of North Florida and is studying Finance. She served as the Vice President of Marketing for the University of North Florida’s Financial Planning Association. Due to her extraordinary perseverance and profound discipline, she has managed to excel in college making her a recipient of the following scholarships: Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at Jacksonville and Florida State College at Jacksonville. Kathie has had two internships at Parallon and Crowley Maritime Corporation as an undergraduate, and hopes to become a leader in the business industry. Currently, she is working towards helping other students like herself pursue a higher education.
